Color MirageTM

Color MirageTM is an optical thin film coating that controls the transmission, reflection or absorption of specific wavelengths. The specific light source, the angle of the light source, the angle of viewing and the texture of the surface will all affect perceived color. Material may be glass or plastic, smooth or textured, flat or shaped.

Cold Mirrors for Heat Control

A "cold" mirror is designed to reflect the visible light and transmit infrared radiation or heat. As a result, the visible light is fully available for the lighting application while reducing up to 90% of the reflected heat.

Hot Mirrors for Heat Control

A "hot" mirror reflects infrared radiation and transmits visible light. This is generally accomplished by inserting the hot mirror in the path of the light beam, reflecting the infrared back toward the light source, and transmitting the visible light to the target.
