Position:  Mechanical Engineer - Vacuum Coating
Timing:  Immediate

Detailed Position Description:

• Responsible for design of equipment to meet process specification. 
• Lead the equipment build process. 
• Support the equipment maintenance team. 
• Support the technical staff. 

Reports to the Director of Operations 

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced in vacuum / thin film deposition equipment design. 
• Thin film process / deposition knowledge including e-beam, sputtering IAD experience a plus. 
• Project management experience.
• Optical metrology systems. 
• Industrial engineering, workflow, plant layout.
• Glass, metal and plastic substrate experience.
• Machining brittle materials.
